Majed Shafi

Intern - Business Management

Majed joined the Queensland Institute Pty Ltd in August, 2021 as part of a work-integrated learning program in collaboration with Queensland University of Technology (QUT), where he is currently completing a Master of Business Management and Human Resources. Majed will support QI business by enhancing our internal policies and strategies to support our Student Management Systems. Majed has worked extensively in Human Resources in India, The United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. He worked with companies such as Aramco Oil, Dr. Sulaymaniyah Al-Habib Medical Group, Eye of Riyadh Event Management, and King Saud University.  Majed also draws on his own experience in international education as a student, living in Queensland for a number of years. During his studies at The University of Queensland in 2019, Majed worked with members of the QI team on digital marketing projects as a volunteer for the UQ International Student Choir. He has a special interest in photography and was commissioned to produce the images for QI’s website in December 2020. Majed is passionate about helping organisations to grow and helping others to succeed. We are delighted to welcome him to our team.
