Interactive Workshop: Bringing Music and Movement to Virtual Learning

QI Director Fiona Wiebusch, QI Consultant Vicki Bos (Teaching in Harmony), and Tanja Hafenstein (The University of Queensland) will present a 45-minute interactive workshop titled, Motivating Learners through Music and Movement in the Virtual Language Classroom.

This session explores how music and movement enhance engagement, motivation, and learning outcomes in virtual classrooms. Designed with early-career teachers in mind, the workshop will provide practical, transferable activities that can be used in both online and physical classrooms.

A Decade of Connection with CamTESOL

The Queensland Institute has a long-standing connection with CamTESOL, and this session marks the 10th anniversary of Co-Founder, Fiona Wiebusch’s involvement in the conference.

Reflecting on the conference, Fiona shared,

"It’s always such a joy to work with early-career teachers in Cambodia, many of whom travel from remote areas to attend. Cambodian teachers are incredibly committed to professional development. They love exchanging ideas and sharing practical classroom activities, making our sessions both engaging and rewarding."

As long-time speakers, attendees, and sponsors, the QI team is excited to continue collaborating with Cambodia’s dedicated English language teaching community, sponsoring 5 teachers to attend in 2022.
