Celebrating International TESOL Students’ Experiences

Connecting with English language teachers and TESOL students in Brisbane

2 July 2024 I The Queensland Institute

Our 2024 international student mentors.

Our recent 'Life in Australia' networking event at The University of Queensland's School of Languages and Cultures was a delightful afternoon filled with insightful discussions and meaningful connections.

Event Highlights

Our Hong Kong student-teachers had the opportunity to:

  • Engage with international colleagues and ask insightful questions about student life in Brisbane.

  • Discuss travel in Queensland and studying Applied Linguistics (TESOL).

  • Learn about working as English language teaching professionals in Brisbane.

We were honoured to have guests from Australia, India, China, Japan, Chile, Singapore, and Colombia join us. Their diverse perspectives enriched our discussions and provided invaluable insights.

What amazing ambassadors you are for our future teachers!
