We are delighted to announce that on 17 March 2025, The Queensland Institute (QI) and UQ College (UQC) at The University of Queensland (UQ) formalised our collaboration through an official Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

A Strategic Collaboration to Support Educators

This MOU enables QI and UQC to collaborate on teacher training and customised education programs. In particular, it supports in-person training at UQ’s St Lucia campus and strengthens our connection to the UQ network—while maintaining the tailored approach to teacher development our collaborators know and trust.

Continuing Quality, Exploring New Possibilities

For existing QI collaborators, this agreement ensures a seamless continuation of our high-quality teacher development programs—both online and in-person. For new clients, the MOU highlights our shared commitment to innovation in teacher education and opens the door to future joint initiatives aligned with international education goals.

A Partnership Built on Shared Expertise

The MOU builds on two decades of shared expertise, including our work together at ICTE-UQ. QI and UQC share a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, customised education programs. Our collaboration broadens opportunities for both teachers and students to engage in meaningful learning experiences in Queensland.

The agreement was developed in collaboration with Julian Wilson (CEO), Kate Galati (Senior Manager – Business Development), and Iain Mathieson (Senior Manager – English Language Pathways), with the support of the UQ College Board.

Looking to the Future

We are excited to continue working with our existing partners—and to welcome new collaborators—as we explore new ways to grow together. If you have any questions or would like to discuss potential opportunities, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
