Empowering Students and Building Community

Milpera State High School serves as a beacon of hope for newly arrived young people of refugee and migrant backgrounds in Queensland. Their mission is to foster settlement and a sense of belonging through carefully curated learning experiences and a robust extracurricular program that values the cultural identity of each student.

At the core of Milpera's success lies its dedicated team, including bilingual teacher aides who provide invaluable cultural support, assisting students in English language learning and ensuring their success in the Australian classroom environment.
